Things start happening seemingly at random, enough that if you shuffled several scenes around, the movie would make just as much sense! And as the end credits began unfolding, there were A LOT of questions that remained unanswered. However, as the movie progresses, it begins to make less and less sense. Cube 2: Hypercube Gomovies: Eight strangers awaken with no memory and find themselves in a puzzling cube shaped room where the laws of physics do not always. And this screenplay is definitely a lot more ambitious, having some interesting and clever ideas along the way. With a higher budget this time around, the sets and the special effects are better. In some aspects, this sequel is an improvement over the original. However, I do remember enough of it to make some comparisons with this sequel. I did see the original “Cube” movie before seeing this sequel, though that was several years ago and my memory of it is getting fuzzy.
